Song Joong Ki - Song Hye Kyo Wedding Update: 'Descendants of the Sun' Stars' Honeymoon Destination Revealed

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, the stars of the global hit drama "Descendants of the Sun," will tie the knot next week. Fans have been anticipating the event ever since it was announced in July earlier this year and, a few days before the wedding, more details have been revealed. 

According to reports, after their union on Oct. 31, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will head to Europe for their honeymoon. The celebrity couple refused to divulge any specifics; after all, the newlyweds would likely want to spend their first days as husband and wife with a little bit of privacy. 

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo did fly to Paris earlier this month for unknown reasons. Photos of the celebrity couple in a shopping mall have gone viral on social media sites. 

After their honeymoon in an undisclosed location in Europe, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will start their family in a new home in Itaewon-dong, Seoul. The actor has reportedly purchased a spacious two-story house earlier this year and renovations were completed this month, in time for the wedding. 

The home, which stands on a 602 square meter lot, was purchased for 10 billion won or about $8.9 million. The simple but modern house is surrounded by well-kept trees can help Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, two of the most popular South Korean actors in the world, have a little bit of privacy as they start their own little family. 

As per the report of HelloKPop, no one lives inside the house as of yet. However, residents have spotted Song Joong Ki around the area quite a few times. There was no mention of whether his fiancee  Song Hye Kyo was with him when he visited the property. 

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will get married on Oct. 31 at the luxurious Shilla Hotel. Their family and closest friends are expected to attend.
