‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 8: Learn More About the Show’s Juicy Details, Spoilers and More
Several fans are excited for the upcoming premiere of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 8 even though two of the original cast members are out of the show. In relation to the much-awaited American action police procedural television series, there are also numerous spoilers and juicy details that you should know about.
Regarding the announced decision of Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park to exit the show in July, Inquisitr quoted CBS network saying, "Daniel and Grace have been important and valued members of Hawaii Five-0 for seven seasons. We did not want to lose them and tried very hard to keep them with offers for large and significant salary increases." The official statement also explained that both parties were not able to reach an agreement and decided to part ways with tremendous respect for one another and with hopes to work again in the future.
Given that two of the most significant characters of the series are already gone, viewers are wondering how the show would address Kono Kalakaua and Chin Ho Kelly's departure in "Hawaii Five-0 Season 8. Executive Producer Peter M. Lenkov shared that the team is still trying to adjust to the fact that two of their co-stars have already quit. The showrunner also revealed that Daniel and Grace's characters would not leave at the same time. He further adds that the nobody, even the cast, has accepted what happened. They are still adjusting to the new team and dynamics. Additionally, there are some scenes where they do reference them, making the whole production team miss the two more. Even though things have changed, they are still happy with where they are in their lives and the other things that have been going on for the show.
CBS adds that the showrunner is excited to explore on their new team and how everyone will bring their own unique talents and skills to the table. Moreover, Mr. Lenkov said that Meaghan Rath and Beulah Koale have been doing such a great job in their respective characters, and fans will see a lot more of Ian Anthony Dale this Season 8.
