Wanna One Kang Daniel has been long rumored to take part in "Running Man." However, there were no reports back then if he will make an appearance on the program. Then, claims surfaced the internet saying that the singer was spotted filming for the said variety show.

Now, it is finally happening. Wanna One Kang Daniel's agency affirmed the news, as per Naver. In fact, YMC Entertainment said that the singer is currently busy filming for an upcoming episode of "Running Man." The exact date of the episode where he will appear remains under wraps, though.

YMC Entertainment also clarified that Wanna One Kang Daniel is the only member who will make an appearance on the show, All Kpop reports. Even so, many fans are still anticipating his guest appearance on "Running Man," especially Song Ji Hyo. The actress has been very vocal about being a fan of the K-pop idol and his group.

Moreover, fans are hoping to see Ji Hyo and Wanna One Kang Daniel team up in one of the forthcoming episodes of the show. Many are also excited and happy for the actress as one of her fangirl dreams will come true sooner or later. In addition, this marks the singer's first time in appearing on a variety show after he has been praised by the staff of "Master Key."
