GOT7 Leaves Behind Ed Sheeran In iTunes Worldwide Album Chart

GOT7 has topped the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart with their recent release '7 for 7'. This seventh MV album '7 for 7' was released on 10th October.

The list was released yesterday and it clearly predicts that GOT7 is going to give a serious competition to others. American singers like Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and Adele were also in the list but JYP Entertainment boy group overcame all. On the day of its release, the song managed to top Genie, Naver Music, and Mnet's real-time charts.

The mini album has seven songs with "You Are" as the title track. It is a contemporary pop that is soft and comfortable but still fresh. It has been co-composed and co-written by group leader JB. So far, the song got a No.1 spot on three real-time music charts and has received 15 lakh views on YouTube.

Talking about the success of his song JB said, "It makes me feel proud. It felt like I was dreaming. It was a different feeling. I had to pay a lot of attention to it as it was a title track."

Further, he said, "I wanted to express my gratitude towards my fans. I created a melody line that could make you think of us as brightly laughing and dancing under the vast sky." On this occasion, Jackson also cleared the air of leaving the GOT7.

JB also mentioned that the idea for "7 for 7" was influenced by that of JJ Project. But we wanted to do something that could uplift the image as well. Something that could do better than our previous image.

Before 7 for 7, the group released their single "My Swagger" in Japan. The album topped the Billboard's Japan Single Chart. Another South Korean band of boys, NU'EST W also got a 11th position at the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart.
