Meanwhile, Super Junior last performed at SMTOWN LIVE on July 8. That moment was an emotional one for everyone as the members who attended the concert shared the experiences and struggles of the group lately. Only members Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, and Kim Heechul were present at the event. Whereas, Donghae, Choi Siwon, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun were fulfilling their military service duties. In addition, Kangin has been inactive because of his drunk driving case in 2016, and Sungmin opted not to attend due to the recent fan boycotts.
"Though we feel like our strength has been sapped out of us, seeing our fans gives us a lot of energy," Shindong's statement as quoted by Soompi. "We're so grateful. I can't really put into words how I'm feeling right now."
Furthermore, leader Leeteuk did his best to reassure fans and his fellow members. He did so by emphasizing his 18 years spent in SM Entertainment, saying Super Junior is his life and there are no exits for him. Lastly, All K-Pop reveals that Super Junior will have a comeback on November 6, celebrating the group's 12th debut anniversary, as well as a "Super Show 7" concert sometime in December.
