Minzy recently opened up about her life after she left 2NE1. The former 2NE1 member revealed she has been feeling gloomy since she left the group. The singer also shared how she wants her group to be remembered.

It has been more than a year since fans last saw Minzy perform with her fellow 2NE1 members. To recall, her contract with YG Entertainment came to an end last year. CL, Sandara Park, and Park Bom re-signed their contract.

However, Minzy decided to take on a new path. That said, she did not renew her contract with YG Entertainment. 2NE1 then made a comeback with just three members.

After leaving 2NE1, she embarked on a solo career. She signed up for Music Works Entertainment and she later joined the second season of "Sister's Slam Dunk." Minzy received other projects as well after that. Even so, when she sat with The Star Magazine for an interview, the singer-songwriter revealed she became sad, as per Koreaboo.

In spite of a handful of projects given to her, Minzy shared that she still missed her former co-members in 2NE1. She also said that she missed performing with the group as well. The former 2NE1 member explained that performing solo is different than being in a group.

Minzy continued and said that she felt "really lonely" working by herself. "We were always quite loud and there's always be something happening," recalls the former 2NE1 member. That said, she shared that it makes her sad whenever she tries to recollect memories from her 2NE1 days.

Minzy was later asked about how she wants her former group to be remembered after disbanding early this year. She answered that she hopes that the fans will never forget 2NE1.  She added that may the fans keep them in their hearts as well.
