The battle against the Thanos (Josh Brolin) is expected to see some fan-favorite superheroes sacrifice their own lives for the greater good in "Avengers: Infinity War." However, it looks like one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes will survive the first battle against the Mad Titan.

Rumors persist that some of the Avengers will die in the massive cinematic event. Among the heroes whose lives are in danger are Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Vision (Paul Bettany).

However, it looks like fans should not worry about the fate of one of the Avengers. Evans was recently spotted in Atlanta which means only one thing: Steve Rogers survives his first confrontation with Thanos.

The news comes from Just Jared which also reports that Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, has turned up in the movie studio. While she was announced as the new superhero last year, Marvel has clarified that she will not be introduced in "Avengers: Infinity War."  Instead, her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will happen in her solo movie slated to come out in 2019.

This does not assure that death is not coming for Evans' Captain America; the character might still meet his maker in "Avengers 4." After all, his contract with Marvel has already ended and his future with the studio remains undecided.

Not much is known about "Avengers: Infinity War," but folks who attended this year's San Diego Comic-Con already got a glimpse at how the Earth's Mightiest Heroes will meet the Mad Titan Thanos.

As recounted by Screen Geek, in the teaser released by Marvel Entertainment, Thanos arrives on Earth where a war is already underway. The fans got a glimpse of a bearded Captain America who, according to rumors, will abandon the shield to become the Nomad.

"Avengers: Infinity War" will premiere in May 2018. Meanwhile, "Avengers 4" is slated to land on the big screen by 2019.
