'The Blacklist' Season 5: Father-Daughter Bonding As Liz Joins Red Rebuild His Empire In New Teaser

Now that she knows that he is her father, Liz (Megan Boone) joins Red (James Spader) as he rebuilds his empire in "The Blacklist" Season 5. In a new teaser released by NBC, the lead stars of the crime drama talk about Liz and Red's new dynamic and what the future has in store for the father-daughter team. 

The fourth season finale made it official: as everyone has suspected since the beginning of the series, Red is Liz's biological father. However, the story does not stop there. 

In the upcoming season, Red is determined to regain what he has lost but, this time around, he will have his daughter watching his back. In the "The Blacklist" Season 5 teaser first revealed by Mashable, Red, and Liz get a long overdue father-daughter bonding by rebuilding a criminal empire. 

"Last season, we discovered the truth," Boone recounts. "This season we pick up with a daughter trying to figure out how to navigate a world where her father is the world's most wanted criminal."

Despite the fact she remains firm about being a good cop, Liz realizes that "The Blacklist" and her father is of importance to her job and the Task Force. Therefore, she is going to help rebuild his empire.
