'Produce 101's Son Dong Myun, NC.A Join 'The Unit' Cast

"The Unit" cast is getting bigger. KBS is tapping more and more Korean idols to join the show. Son Dong Myun and NC.A from "Produce 101" are even added to the audition program.

Son Dong Myun stole the hearts of many K-pop fans with his innocent and childlike character in the sophomore season of "Produce 101." Many fans are surely clamoring for the rising idol's presence. That being said, it looks like KBS heard their prayers.

"Produce 101" star Son Dong Myun is confirmed to join the cast of "Idol Rebooting Project The Unit," also known as "The Unit," as per Soompi. But KBS did not only tapped Dong Myun. But, solo South Korean singer NC.A will participate in the show as well. To fans who can't get enough of NC.A's voice, well here is their chance to hear and see her again. 

But, there are more to this rebooting project show's lineup. Reports have been making rounds that Jisun is still in talks with the network. Now, it is confirmed that the former Girl's Day member is in and she will start anew in "The Unit", according to AllKPop.

Other than NC.A, Jisun, and "Produce 101"s Son Dong Myun, there are other four K-pop idols whom fans will get to see in "The Unit." Newly debuted groups LipBubble and Ouikid will also send some of its members to join "The Unit"s lineup. Lip Bubble's Eunbyul and Hanbi are confirmed to join the said KBS rebooting program show. On top of that, Ouikid members 1BELL and Yooha.

"The Unit" is one of KBS shows where it lets K-pop idols to audition and give them new teams. It targets to establish two K-pop groups - one is all-male and the other is all-female. Each group will be composed of 10 members. Catch "Produce 101"s Son Dong Myun and others as the show premieres next month.
