'Once Upon A Time' Season 7: Are Hook & Emma Still Together? Colin O'Donoghue On Captain Swan

The love story between Captain Hook and Emma Swan is not over yet. While Jennifer Morrison will not return in "Once Upon A Time" Season 7, Colin O'Donoghue assures that his character, Killian, is still happily married to and very much in love with the Savior of Storybrooke. 

In the upcoming season of the fairy tale drama, the action will move from Maine to Seattle where a now adult Henry Mills (played by Andrew J. West), a man who no longer believes in magic, resides. Unfortunately, leaving Storybrooke also means leaving some of the characters that viewers know and love.

Aside from Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Jared S. Gilmore (young Henry Mills) and Rebecca Mader (Wicked Witch of the West) have also departed the show. Only O'Donoghue, Robert Carlyle (Rumplestiltskin) and Lana Parilla (The Evil Queen) will continue to be parts of the fairy tale. 

However, while "Once Upon A Time" Season 7 will offer new adventures to the remaining cast and the slew of new characters it will introduce later this year, it will not completely abandon everything that has been established from the previous six seasons. Fans can expect the series to continue referencing certain adventures from the past and even bring back certain characters. 

One of the storylines that will continue to become a part of the series is the love story between Captain Hook and Emma Swan.  After six seasons, the star-crossed lovers are finally married and, despite Morrison's absence, O'Donoghue assures that the couple dubbed by fans as "Captain Swan" are still living their happily ever after. 

"We saw at the end of last season, Hook and Emma got married and it was a happy beginning as they called it, and they are happy together," the actor tells TV Guide. "That's a definite, for the fans that are concerned about that: Hook and Emma are happy together."

He, however, warns that the Hook from "Once Upon A Time" Season 7 will be different from the man that Emma Swan loves. What happened to him and Emma will be explored on the second episode of the seventh season. 

"Once Upon A Time" Season 7 will premiere on Oct. 6 on ABC. The series will also star newcomer Alison Fernandez as Lucy, Henry's daughter.
