‘League of Legends’ Patch 7.17: New Champ Ornn, New Star Guardian Skins, New Invasion Game Mode
"League of Legends" patch 7.17 introduces new champion Ornn to the game. It also adds a new set of skins and several adjustments to other champions.
Upcoming 7.17 patch for "League of Legends" will introduce a new champion named Ornn, the Fire Below the Mountain which currently available on the PBE server. In addition to Ornn, patch 7.17 will deliver adjustments, nerfs and buffs to selected champions.
Ornn is the Freljordian demi-god of forging and craftsmanship who works beneath the volcano Hearth-Home. In the game, Ornn can allow purchases of Masterwork Upgrades based on in-game items to each member of his team such as Forgefire Cape, Infernal Mask, Molten Edge, The Obsidian Cleaver, Rabadon's Deathcrown, Trinity Fusion, Salvation and Circlet of the Iron Solari. Players will simply need to add an additional gold ranging from 500 to 1000 on top of the items to make it a masterwork.
Ornn skills include physical and magical damage with capabilities to cause crowd control effects such as slow and knock-up. Ornn can slam the ground using Volcanic Rupture to send out a fissure which deals physical damage and slows enemies for two seconds. Ornn can generate a shield using Bellow Breath that can absorb damage with a total amount of 12 percent of maximum health. Bellow Breath also deals damage in cone as Ornn marches forward.
Ornn can use Searing Charge to pass through enemies, dealing damage and knocking them up for one second. This skill deals more damage if Ornn has higher armor rating and magic resistance. Ornn's ultimate skill is called Call of the Forge God to summon an elemental at maximum range. The elemental will stampede towards Ornn that deals magic damage and slowing enemies in the direction. It can be re-activated to have Ornn dash towards the elemental which forces it to stampede in a new direction which will knock up any enemies in that direction, according to the game's official website.
Patch 7.17 has changed to another champion on the game. Buffed champions include Ezreal, Urgot, and Zed. Adjusted champions include Hecarim, Leona, Malphite, and Ornn. Draven is the only champion so far being nerfed on this patch - Adoration stacks lost on death increased to 75 from 50 percent and gold received on kills decreased to 25 from 50. Other changes include the nerf on Ardent Censer's passive attack speed and passive health drain on allied champions, and reduction of Circlet of the Iron Solari armor rating.
Star Guardian skin set is scheduled to be released on patch 7.17 along with the Star Guardian game mode called Invasion. Ahri, Ezreal, Miss Fortune, Soraka, and Syndra will be the new ones included on the popular Star Guardian line-up. Other skins available on this patch include Thunder Lord Ornn and Neo PAX Sivir, according to PC GamesN.
