According to scoop released by Spoiler TV, in "Shadowhunters" Season 2, Episode 16, Simon and Maia head to Lewis' for their family dinner for Yom Kippur. Meanwhile, Alec is likely to lose his position and he will have to come terms with it. Jace and Clary resort to unconventional means to participate in a dangerous and unsanctioned mission.
"Shadowhunters" Season 2, Episode 16 showcases Jace willingness to go to Idris. According to him, Valentine can be found in Idris, but the Clave is not interested in sending him. However, Clary has a solution and they embark on the mission. Things nosedive as they struggle to differentiate between what is real and what is not. But, they continue the mission while having each other's back.
During the episode, they test their angelic powers. They do get in trouble but somehow protect each other. About Valentine's location, Jace seems to be right. Valentine and Sebastian are in a cabin in Idris. "Shadowhunters" Season 2, Episode 16 also shows Sebastian unveil his darkness and what he is capable of. Will Jace and Clary come face to face with Valentine and Sebastian?
Meanwhile, Simon comes to know about the family culture and tradition while having dinner. Maia ends inviting herself as she wants to be Simon's side who is freaking out inside.
