Pamela Anderson News Wins Against Hepatitis C; Posts Nude Photo On Instagram!
Pamela Anderson announced that she is cured from Hepatitis C illness after 16 years of battle.
The "Baywatch" actress excitedly shared the news through an Instagram photo where she posted a nude photo of herself with a caption, "I am CURED!!! - I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live," according to People.
"I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still...#dontlosehope," the caption continued.
Pamela Anderson was diagnosed of Hepatitis C 16 years ago and an FDA-approved medicine cured her within a month of treatment. Anderson's Hepatitis news started in 2002 which revealed that she acquired the viral disease by using the same tattoo needle with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee, according to New York Daily News.
In 2002, she felt that her illness is like her "death sentence," reported in People. The illness affected her self-esteem and she shared that, "Even though I may have looked confident on the outside, I think it really was a dark cloud that lingered over me," she continued.
It was in September when she started taking an FDA- approved medicine prescribed by her doctor which the drug name she didn't reveal, according to New York Daily News.
"I don't have any liver damage and I don't have any side effects," the "Baywatch" star told People. "I'm living my life the way I want to but it could have eventually have caused me some problems and so it was a real blessing that I was able to get the medicine."
Pamela Anderson shared that she feels happy and even healthier after hearing the news that she is now Hepatitis free by the help of her new treatment.
"I actually just look in the mirror everyday and I feel like I'm looking younger and younger and I feel like I'm getting those 20 years back," she stated according to E Online.
