"Fight For My Way" reached another impressive milestone as the slice of life drama nears the end of its broadcast run. The Park Seo Joon starrer even bested the historical series "Ruler: Master of the Mask" in the recent TV popularity chart.

For the chart period covering the first week of July, "Fight For My Way" nabbed the first spot on the Content Power Index (CPI) which measures the popularity of South Korean TV shows and its influence on the behavior of consumers. Park Seo Joon's drama reached a score of 279.8 points, according to data from CJ E&M and Nielsen Korea, as cited by Soompi.

"Fight For My Way" even retained its lead on the said chart for the second consecutive week. The Park Seo Joon starrer also surpassed "Ruler: Master of the Mask" which landed at fifth place. Other shows that made it to the CPI list's Top 5 included the Mnet program "Show Me the Money" Season 6 at second place, the travel variety series "New Journey to the West" Season 4 and SBS' "Fantastic Duo 2" at the third and fourth place, respectively.

Meanwhile, "Fight For My Way" is expected to release an exciting finale episode that will feature Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) and Dong Man's (Park Seo Joon) fate following their heartbreaking split. Shown in the KBS drama's penultimate episode, Ae Ra broke up with Dong Man after the said athlete decided to continue his career as a mixed martial arts fighter despite his hairline skull fracture.

Aired on July 10, Monday, "Fight For My Way" episode 15 also posted steady TV ratings following the two drama couple's break-up. Across the South Korean nation, the said episode registered ratings of 13 percent while viewership shares in the Seoul metropolitan area reached 13.8 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

"Fight For My Way" will release its final episode on July 11, Tuesday, on KBS. Watch a clip from Episode 14 below:
