George R.R. Martin Confirms “The Winds of Winter” Release Date in 2016

Several fans are now excited for the launching of "The Winds of Winter" book after a lot of delays. Recent reports are now claiming that George RR Martin is going too focused on finishing the book that he does not have enough time for himself already.

Blasting News reported that George RR Martin is now starting to complain about the sacrifices he is doing to finish "The Winds of Winter" book. In a blogpost, the veteran author has divulged that he does not have time to watch TV and movies right now.

According to the news outlet, George RR Martin is currently working so hard that he cannot manage to spend his leisure activities. The 68-year-old "The Winds of Winter" writer confessed that he was only able to watch Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" movie in the month of June.

While George RR Martin likes a lot of TV series such as the "Fargo" and "Better Call Saul," the New Mexican author has admitted that he cannot watch his favorite shows as he focuses more on finishing "The Winds of Winter" book. The brain behind the "Game of Thrones" series even ranted about not being able to read a book to which he can take inspiration from.

Up until now, George RR Martin has remained mum about the development of "The Winds of Winter" book. As a matter of fact, Korea Portal has previously shared that the "A Dance with Dragons" writer had already vowed to finish the book before committing into a new series.

"It is not done yet, but I've made progress, but not as much as I hope a year ago, when I thought to be done by now," George RR Martin revealed, referring about "The Winds of Winter" novel. "I think it will be out this year. But I thought the same thing last year," the "A Feast of Crows" author added on.
