‘The Winds of Winter’ Release Date, News & Update: George RR Martin Giving More Spoilers In WorldCon 2017; Author Meeting With Publisher

‘The Winds Of Winter’ Release Further Delayed : George R.R. Martin Disappoints Fans

Several fans are now enthusiastic for the up and coming release of "The Winds of Winter" book. Now, new reports are claiming that George RR Martin could possibly be launching the novel very soon.

George RR Martin has shared via LiveJournal that he would be travelling in August 2017 after a very long time. According to "The Winds of Winter" author, this is going to be his second travel this year.

"I cut way way way back to my travel this year, to give myself more time to work," George RR Martin has stated. The veteran author added that he would be meeting his publishers and some agents during the trip, which sparked reports that he might be launching "The Winds of Winter" very soon.

"But come August I'll be off again, first to NYC for a wedding and the usual round of publisher and agent meetings, then off to Finland for worldcon, then on to Russia for a con in St. Petersberg," George RR Martin divulged. He added that 2017 is the only year he would have the least travel in twenty years.

Because of this, fans cannot help but speculate that George RR Martin might be spilling more beans about "The Winds of Winter" novel in the upcoming 2017 WorldCon in Finland and Russia. To recall, the New Mexican writer has previously shared some excerpts of the imminent book in other conventions before.

Meanwhile, Blasting News has previously reported that George RR Martin is very likely to publish "The Winds of Winter" within this year. According to the 68-year-old author, he is prioritizing to finish the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series before writing new books.

However, George RR Martin has also confessed there are a lot of things on his plate right now especially after launching the StageCoach Foundation. Not only that as the veteran writer is also currently working on the scripts of the five possible "Game of Thrones" spinoff, which had fans speculating that "The Winds of Winter" might be delayed once again.

George RR Martin has yet to announce the official "The Winds of Winter" release date. So, fans should take all rumors surrounding the upcoming novel with a grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
