‘Dragon Ball Super' Spoilers: Angels Planning An Uprising? Great Priest Eyeing Omni King's Position?
The latest episode of the ongoing “Dragon Ball Super” anime series was aired last weekend. The series is currently on its Universe Survival Saga arc and the recent episode might have just hinted something darker and bigger than the Tournament of Power.
The previous episode of “Dragon Ball Super” left off with Son Goku being surrounded and ganged up by the Trio de Dangers brothers from Universe 9. In “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 98, the fight between Universe 7 and Universe 9 was the highlight. After going through an embarrassing defeat at the Zen-Oh Exhibition Match, the three brothers are determined to pay back and defeat Goku.
At first, Goku gets trapped within their combination attack, which they called the Danger Triangle. However, Vegeta arrives in time to help after noticing that Goku is in a pinch. The fight escalates as the gods of Universe 9 instruct all their fighters to concentrate their attacks on Vegeta and Goku. It has been revealed that Universe 9 and the rest of the universes have all been keen on getting Vegeta and Goku out of the Tournament of Power because they were the biggest threat.
Vegeta and Goku continue to fight and are able to hold them but things get awry when Vegeta’s right hand is incapacitated for a time being. This then forces Goku and Vegeta to go all out and transform into Super Saiyan Blue. They were able to eliminate all of the fighters of Universe 9 and Zen-Oh wasted no time in erasing the universe.
It seems like the Universe Survival Saga in “Dragon Ball Super” is about making a dark turn as the angels especially the angel of Universe 9 seemed happy that his universe got erased. While some fans debated that this could be because the angel didn't like the god of destruction, Sidra but there was even an ominous feeling coming out from the Grand Priest when he and Goku glared at each other. There are speculations that the Grand Priest along with some angels are planning an uprising to overthrow Zen-Oh and for the Grand Priest to take over his throne.
