‘Ruler: Master Of The Mask’ Episodes 37-38 Spoilers, Watch Online: Sun Fights Fake King, Uses Poison To Prove Himself?
In the penultimate episode of "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 37 and 38, viewers will see the two Suns facing off against each other in their bid for their throne. With the commoner Sun turned fake King (INFINITE's L) and the crown prince turned chief peddler Sun (Yoo Seung Ho) both appearing in front of the members of the court, the true heir to the crown will have to rely on his allies and unique ability to prove his identity.
The highly-awaited confrontation between the fake King and the crown prince will continue in the upcoming "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 37 and 38. With the King's cabinet members confused on who among the two Suns is the rightful heir to the throne, both young men will be tasked to remove their golden masks to unveil their faces to everyone.
The teaser clip for the "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 37 and 38 showed the crown prince Sun first removing his mask with the commoner Sun slowly mimicking his actions. Moreover, it appears that the former will use a poisonous brew to prove that he is indeed the real King given his immunity to the said concoction. The Queen Dowager (Kim Sun Kyung) will even be the one who will serve the deadly drink to the two Suns.
It is unclear if the crown prince's immunity to the poison will be sufficient to convince cabinet members that he is the rightful King. A scene in the said "Ruler: Master of the Mask" episodes 37 and 38 preview showed soldiers trying to arrest the unmasked Sun inside the throne room. It seems that Dae Mok (Heo Joon Ho) and the fake King prepared something to ensure that Sun does not succeed.
Meanwhile, Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun) will continue her search for the jar that contains the proof that Sun needs to reclaim the throne. Despite searching through the numerous pots inside the greenhouse, it appears that she is unable to find the said evidence. In other news, "Ruler: Master of the Mask" recently reached an impressive achievement with the MBC historical series topping the mid-week TV rating chart for nine consecutive weeks. Aired on July 6, Thursday, episode 36 even surpassed the drama's earlier viewership shares with nationwide ratings at 14.9 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Yonhap News.
