‘The Sims 4’ Updates: Game Producer Comments On Introducing ‘Canning’ Gameplay, 'Make Bed' Actions
"The Sims 4" game developers have been hard at work developing DLCs that introduced several new features to the popular life simulation title. Recently, a game producer shared his thoughts about the potential introduction of gameplay elements such as making beds and more.
Over the past months, avid fans have witnessed the deployment of four DLCs that added Vampire Sims to the game, as well as parenting skills, bowling, new fitness objects and a slew of new items. Game developers have even introduced the highly-requested Toddler life stage as a free update to "The Sims 4." However, there are still several elements that the gaming community would like to see patched into the Electronic Arts title.
In a recent Twitter Q&A session, as compiled by Sims Community, game producer SimGuruGraham commented on whether certain features requested by gamers will make it to future "The Sims 4" DLCs. When asked whether the "make bed" action would be introduced through the upcoming "The Sims 4: Toddlers" stuff pack, he confirmed that it will not be one of the gameplay elements for the said DLC. However, he indicated that it might be one of the potential enhancements for the base game.
SimGuruGraham also indicated that game developers might consider adding a "canning" feature in an upcoming stuff pack. Given that the said gameplay element was not chosen in the recent "The Sims 4" survey for the Eco-Living DLC, it appears that there might still be hope for avid players who voted to introduce a Food Preserves option to the game.
Meanwhile, the upcoming "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" pack will include a Laundry gameplay system. In the recent survey, gamers from almost all regions, except Russia, chose the said feature over three other options namely Off the Grid, Carbon Conscious and Food Preserves, according to an announcement posted on "The Sims 4" forums.
"The Sims 4: Eco-Living" DLC is expected for release sometime 2018. The new Toddler-themed stuff pack will be launched in late summer 2017 for PC and MAC.
