‘Supergirl’ Season 3 Renewed: Here’s What To Expect
'Supergirl' season one premiered on CBS almost a year back. Since then, the show has caught a lot of pace in terms of attracting viewers towards its bay. Fans rejoiced in celebration when they discovered that the show-runners had decided to bring the show back for the third time. "Supergirl" Season 3 was officially renewed earlier this year and now fans are looking forward to what the super-hero TV show has to offer to them.
According to a report published by Deadline, 'Supergirl,' Co-creator Ali Adler is apparently not going to be a part of the upcoming season of the super-hero show. With the sudden turn of events, there's a high possibility and chances of either Jessica Queller or Robert Rovner taking his place instead. Moreover, they will further be accompanied by co-creator Andrew Kreisberg.
As far as Adler is concerned, it seems like he will be a part of the show but as a consultant. Another report published by Den Of Geek talks about the potential villain in the upcoming season. There is no official hint or confirmation from the side of the show-runners either, therefore; it becomes slightly difficult to guess as to who can be expected this time. As can be recalled, the season finale last year witnessed Kryptonian as joining the parade of enemies. Therefore, on the basis of this - it can be predicted that he will be among the top worries for the "Supergirl" for now. Another character that will cause much of a trouble for the super-hero characters is Reign. Apparently, the show-runners have hired Odette Anabelle of the Pure Genius fame as the actor to play Reign.
According to Deadline, the character has appeared a lot of times in the "Supergirl" comic-series. However, the writers of the show have tweaked the character a bit in the upcoming season. Therefore, the chances of seeing another side of Reign are highly possible. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that Katie McGrath will be turning in the show as the regular. However, there are several reports that suggest that Floriana Lima won't be coming to a return in her full-fledged. Moreover, the third season of "Supergirl" is expected to premiere sometime in October this year.
The show will also be seeing Tyler Hoechlin play the role of 'Superman.' She will probably make a few appearances but nothing more than that. However, none of the above-given information has been confirmed by the company as yet.
