Just recently, Yoon Jong Shin appeared as a special guest on a music show and revealed how he worked on several songs. One of the songs, in particular, was created for a certain idol but it seems like she will not be able to sing it.

Popular singer and songwriter, Yoon Jong Shin appeared as a guest on the July 1 episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”. The said show regularly showcases various artist to make them do a live performance and sit down for an interview. In that episode, Yoon Jong Shin opened about the artists and musicians he actually wanted to work with. He revealed that he actually had one in mind and even wrote a song perfect for that special someone.

Yoon Jong Shin further revealed that he worked on the track titled, “Forgetful” intending it to have Girls’ Generation member and leader Kim Taeyeon to sing it with him. The veteran singer even confessed that he named the track “Taeyeon Ballad” while he was working on his album because he really wanted to work with her. He explained that he really liked Taeyeon’s voice so he was intent on making her sing it with him.

However, Yoon Jong Shin confessed that SM Entertainment turned down the offer when he handed it to them in May. Taeyeon’s agency apologized to him and explained that they could not let Taeyeon on another duet since she featured on several tracks already this year. Yoon Jong Shin pointed out though that SM Entertainment has offered and hoped that they do it at a later time.

Unfortunately, fans will probably see a duet between Yoon Jong Shin and Kim Taeyeon in the future with another song because the former just couldn’t hold back. Yoon Jong Shin went on to record the song even if it was a ballad song for women.
