SMEnt Confirms EXO Sans Lay And Red Velvet To Make Their Comeback In July

SM Entertainment has evidently planned to go all out this summer as most of its artists are heading for a comeback these next few months. EXO has been confirmed to make their comeback in July. Red Velvet has also announced that they will be promoting in the same month.

SM Entertainment has finally announced that EXO will be returning to the music scene in July. However, the group will be promoting with only eight members in the upcoming comeback. It has been revealed that Lay of EXO-M will not be able to join the rest of the members in this promotion.

SM Entertainment explained that Lay’s schedule in China hinders him from participating in the new comeback. The agency pointed out that they cannot pull out Lay out of his prior commitment in China because they have scheduled it a long time ago. SM Entertainment discussed it with Lay and decided on what will be best for everyone but both Lay and the agency are disappointed that the idol will not be joining EXO’s comeback next month.

SM Entertainment did not clarify if Lay will still take part in the recording of the songs since EXO usually releases albums in Korean and Chinese versions. Lay is currently busy filming movies and starring in various variety shows in China. EXO is reportedly already preparing for their comeback and they are set to film their new music video this week.

SM Entertainment has also revealed that they will be squeezing in Red Velvet for a surprise comeback in July. Since the said girl group is gearing up for a comeback, their new song is reportedly a bright and cheerful one. Red Velvet has apparently completed the filming of their new music video. They are now in the final stages of their preparations and will be ready to start their comeback soon.
