Go Ara Confirmed To Join Song Seung Heon In Lead Roles For Upcoming Drama 'Black'

After a few weeks of rumors that Go Ara will be starring in the new drama series by OCN, the said actress has finally confirmed. She will be joining actor Song Seung Heon for the lead roles.

The new fantasy drama was revealed early this month and Song Seung Heon confirmed first for the lead role of the said series. At that time, Go Ara was still in talks with the production but now the lead roles have been finalized. The actress recently starred in the newly concluded KBS2 drama series "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" and starred alongside "Fight For My Way" star Park Seo Joon and "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" lead actor, Park Hyung Sik. “Black” will also be the first drama series Song Seung Heon will star in for four years and many fans are anticipating his return to the small screen.

The new OCN television series titled "Black" is a fantasy drama that centers on the story of a young detective named Black who gets possessed by a grim reaper after falling in love with a human and as a consequence, loses his memories. Meanwhile, the female lead named Ha Ram can see the shadows of death. Black and Ha Ram will have their fates intertwined as they struggle to save lives while breaking the rules imposed by the heavens.

Song Seung Heon will be portraying the role of the grim reaper and Black. Go Ara, on the other hand, has not revealed which role she will be playing but it is most likely that she will be playing the lead role and most possible love interest, Ha Ram. OCN has not revealed further details on the new drama series, "Black" except that it is slated to make its premiere in October this year. The said series will be replacing "Save Me" on the evening television time slots every Saturday and Sunday.
