‘The Winds of Winter’ Release Date, News & Update: George RR Martin Targets 2017 Launch! ‘ASOIF’ Author Vowed Finishing Book The Soonest
Millions of fans are now thrilled for the release of the "The Winds of Winter" novel. Now, new reports are claiming that the long wait would soon be over as George RR Martin is planning to launch the novel before the year ends.
Blasting News reported that George RR Martin is now trying his best to finish "The Winds of Winter" on time. As a matter of fact, the 68-year-old writer had confirmed through his personal blog that he is currently working on the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series despite his very hectic schedule.
"It is not done yet, but I've made progress, but not as much as I hope a year ago, when I thought to be done by now," George RR Martin has stated about "The Winds of Winter" novel. "I think it will be out this year. But I thought the same thing last year," the New Mexican author added on.
George RR Martin has also addressed the speculations that his untimely death could possibly hinder him to finish "The Winds of Winter" book. However, the "A Dance With Dragons" author expressed that he hopes to write 30 more novels in the upcoming 30 more years.
Meanwhile, Korea Portal has previously reported that George RR Martin had already gotten tired of fans demanding him to give updates about the upcoming novel. According to the author, he is not fond of giving his followers minute updates about "The Winds of Winter" especially if there are no significant progresses.
While George RR Martin fully understands how fans are so desperate for "The Winds if Winter" book, the veteran writer had shared that some fans make him feel inadequate. The "A Feast of Crows" author even said that he shared some chapters of the imminent sixth "A Song of Ice and Fire" installment on his blog to let fans know what they should expect in the novel.
