‘Kpop Star 6’ Alum Shannon Collaborates With F(x)’s Amber, Geeks’ Lil Boi

"Kpop Star 6" alum Shannon Areum Williams Lees, who is professionally known as Shannon, will release a new song on June 27, Tuesday. Two artists are collaborating with the British-Korean singer, who is under the management of MBK Entertainment.

Shannon's upcoming song will feature rapper Oh Seung Taek, who is professionally known as Lil Boi. The rapper and Hwang Moon Seob, who is professionally known as Louie, are the members of the hip hop duo named Geeks.

Shannon's new song also has an English version, according to Korea Herald. This version will feature Amber Josephine Liu, who is professionally known as Liu, who is a member of the K-Pop girl group f(x) along with Victoria Song, Krystal Jung and Park Sun Young, whose respective screen names are Victoria, Krystal and Luna.

Beauty blogger Park Hye Min, who is professionally known as Pony, will collaborate with Shannon, as well. The former will be in charge of the appearance of the "Kpop Star 6" alum.

Shannon was born in London. Her father Chris Williams Lees is Welsh while her mother Kim Jung Mi is Korean.

In 2010, Shannon appeared in the SBS show "Star King." However, it was her participation in the SBS audition program "K-Pop Star 6" that really helped her gain popularity in South Korea.

As an actress, Shannon has appeared in one TV series. She played a supporting role on "Moorim School," which aired on KBS2 from Jan. 11, 2016 to March 8, 2016.

Among Shannon's "Moorim School" co-stars was K-Pop boy band VIXX member Lee Hong Bin, who is be one of the new members of the SBS show "Law of the Jungle," All Kpop reported. Lee was in the main cast of "Moorim School" along with Lee Hyun Woo, Seo Ye Ji and Jung Yoo Jin.

There is still no new about Shannon's next project as an actress. Apparently, the British-Korean singer is focusing on her music as of the moment.
