‘Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy’ PS4 Update May Not Surprise Players On June 30

'Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy' is a platform video game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the PlayStation 4.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is a platform video game published by Activision for the PlayStation 4. It is set to be released on June 30.

Some players are expecting surprises from the upcoming game. However, the new things offered by the game may not be as surprising as expected.

Among the things players can expect from "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is Coco. While Crash's sister will be playable in all three games, she is a cosmetic swap who has no unique moves to offer.

What cannot be denied was the amount of work needed to complete "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy." Almost all of the source code and reference materials of the Crash games were missing, Vicarious Visions designer Dan Tanguay told Ars Technica.

"The original engine was specifically built for PlayStation 1," Tanguay told the publication. Naughty Dog made a fantastic engine after pushing the PlayStation 1 to the limits but the engine was not usable and Vicarious Visions did not have access to any code, he explained.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is a collection of remasters of the "Crash Bandicoot" series' first three games. These are "Crash Bandicoot," "Cortex Strikes Back" and "Warped."

Kara Massie from Vicarious Visions also talked about the Crash Bandicoot remaster in another interview with Game Reactor during E3. The great thing about the game is that as soon as it gets good, there is always a way to be better and faster as there are more things to discover.

Over the course of the three Crash games, the improvement is evident, according to Massie. They had time trials across all the series and online leaderboards to achieve such improvement, she said.

With the Crash Bandicoot remaster, players have 80 levels to excel at. This is great for the players who enjoy going the extra mile to get a great score on the different levels.
