Samuel Kim Is Ready To Debut Solo, Reveals Preview Of Mini Album
“Produce 101” Season 2 wrapped up its show last week with the reveal of its final members. Out of 101 trainees, only 11 remained and will debut with the new group, WANNA ONE. One of the favorite hopefuls is Samuel Kim who has announced that he will be making his solo debut soon.
“Produce 101” Season 2 contestant Samuel Kim has just announced that he will be making his official solo debut. Samuel will be releasing a mini album and he has already given a sneak peek of one of the tracks, “I’m Ready” through his official YouTube channel. However, just recently, he revealed more details on the mini album when he went on a live show for Naver’s V Live.
On the live broadcast, Samuel gave fans a glimpse of the recording studio and with him was Brave Brothers. Brave Brothers, whose real name is Kang Dong Chul, is the founder of Brave Entertainment. Samuel and Brave Brothers gave fans a quick listen to selected clips from Samuel’s new mini album.
Samuel will be making his solo debut in August and will release the said mini album on that month as well. His title track is “Sixteen” and he will be promoting it on his debut. Aside from “Sixteen” and “I’m Ready”, the mini album includes songs “With You”, “I Got It”, and “1, 2, 3” as revealed in the recent V Live broadcast.
Brave Brothers revealed that the agency has actually been working on Samuel’s mini album for a year and they have been preparing him for a solo debut. So, even though Samuel did not make it to the final 11 members of WANNA ONE, the talented young artist still has a bright future ahead of him. Samuel Kim was one of the best bets in the Mnet survival show and the final results that did not include him had many fans in an uproar, claiming that South Korea has closed their eyes on someone who will surely make it big one day.
