BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is undeniably the most popular Korean pop act nowadays. The group has made a name in South Korea’s music industry by showing off powerful vocals and choreography. The group recently gained international attention and has been reportedly busy with new endeavors.

BTS have just concluded their fourth-anniversary celebration and they have even announced that they are releasing their own line of beauty products. With all the new things the group is trying out, rumor has it that they are also eyeing to make their own drama series. A representative from Big Hit Entertainment has stepped up to address these rumors.

The agency's representative revealed that BTS is indeed working on a drama project. The said project is one of the several programs that Big Hit Entertainment is preparing for and it aims to feature the stories of each member. The representative clarified though that the drama project for BTS is still in the initial stages so there is not much they can share about it. The representative also debunked rumors that the agency was recently looking into hiring script writers and said that they were not.

The rumors of a drama project came out when a media outlet reported that BTS is working on a new album that will be themed after the essence of “love yourself”. Big Hit Entertainment also denied this rumor and said that BTS was not going to release an album or song titled “Love Yourself”. However, the boys are gearing up for a comeback soon as group leader Rap Monster have revealed that they are already working on and picking out various songs to showcase another side to the group.

BTS recently gained the Top Social Artist award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. They have since been then recognized as global icons for their fashion and music.
