‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Kit Harington’s Jon Snow Is In Danger
If there is one thing that is constant with "Game of Thrones," it is the fact that no one among the characters is safe. Recently, Kit Harington said that his character Jon Snow is no different.
"He's in mortal danger like anyone else," Harington said of Jon Snow in an interview with SFX magazine, as cited by Games Radar. In "Game of Thrones" Season 6, the actor felt safe because he thought it would be bad storytelling to kill his character in the same season that he had been resurrected.
On Season 7, it appears that not even Harington is sure whether or not Jon Snow will make it until the last episode. It is back to business for him for the seasons of the HBO series based on George R. R. Martin's novels beyond Season 6.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will premiere on HBO on July 16. The last episode will air on Aug. 27.
HBO started filming the seventh season on Aug. 31, 2016. Among the locations are Iceland, North Ireland and Spain.
Several guest casts will be featured on the upcoming installment. Played by Bella Ramsey, young noblewoman Lyanna Mormont will be back after being introduced in Season 6.
There are several new cast members joining the series. Among them are Tom Hopper and Jim Broadbent, who will play Dickon Tarly and Archmaester Marwyn, respectively.
In the main cast, Harington is reuniting with Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nicolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister and Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. Also in the main cast are Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Indira Varma, whose respective characters are Arya Stark, Sansa Stark and Ellaria Sand.
On the big screen, Harington is set to star in "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan." The "Game of Thrones" actor will star opposite Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, who was spotted at the Los Angeles International Airport on June 15, Daily Mail reported.
"The Death and Life of John F. Donovan" is Xavier Dolan's first English-language film. Among Harington and Portman's co-stars are Bella Thorne, Jessica Chastain, Jacob Tremblay and Susan Sarandon.
