Nokia 7, Nokia 8 And Nokia 9 Spotted; Complete Specs Revealed
HMD-Global backed Nokia took the wraps off its heavily-speculated Nokia 3, 5 and 6 smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier in February this year. However, the Finnish-company is not done with launching its latest innovations yet. The firm is now expected to introduce similar smartphone but targeted at different users under names, 'Nokia 7, 8 and 9' in the second quarter of this year.
As pointed by The Mobile Indian, Nokia is gradually introducing its Nokia 3, 5 and 6 smartphones across varied markets as the time passes by. HMD Global is also pushing towards preparing its speculated smartphones, Nokia 7, 8 and 9 for global launch as well. President of HMD Global, Ajey Mehta in a recent interview affirmed to the widespread rumor that suggested that Nokia will be launching new smartphones by the end of the second quarter of this year. He said that with the upcoming launches, the firms hope to reach out to the different types of consumers in the market.
According to a report published by DNA, the alleged smartphones were even spotted on benchmarking website, Geekbench earlier this week. As per the information provided on the Geekbench website, the Nokia 7 is going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC or the recently-launched Snapdragon 660 SoC. The device will further go on to offer 3GB of RAM. The device will flaunt a full HD resolution of 1,080 x 1920 pixel resolution. On the other hand, the Nokia 8 is going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC with 2GB of RAM. The upcoming smartphone is pegged to pack a quad-HD resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels.
Coming to the Nokia 9 smartphone, a report by Gizbot suggested that the smartphone will be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and will offer 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is apparently going to feature a 5.3-inch AMOLED display with a quad-HD resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels and a dual rear camera setup with 22MP sensors.
