Gwen Stefani Is Happy To Kiss Blake Shelton, Her Cowboy
The relationship of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton is on fire and far from over. After being together for more than a year, the two musicians are still very much in love.
On June 18, Sunday, Shelton celebrated his 41st birthday. Stefani took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with her boyfriend with a caption "I get to kiss on the birthday boy" along with a hashtag "#happybirthdaycowboy."
The relationship of Shelton and Stefani was confirmed in November 2015. They were both coaches of "The Voice" at the time.
In July 2015, Shelton and former wife Miranda Lambert confirmed their breakup. A month later, Stefani and former husband Gavin Rossdale also did the same.
In 2016, Stefani and Shelton released their very first collaboration song together. They co-wrote the song titled "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which was released as the second promotional single for the digital download of Shelton's 10th studio album titled "If I'm Honest."
Shelton wrote the first verse of "Go Ahead and Break My Heart." Stefani then analyzed the verse and wrote her own.
After the digital release of "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," Shelton and Stefani performed the song live on "The Voice" Season 11. They did another live performance of the song at a promotional iHeartRadio concert.
Days before Shelton's 41st birthday, he participated in several CMA Music Festival events, which took place in Nashville from June 8-11. On June 9, he staged a surprise concert at the Wildhorse Saloon, in Nashville, where he performed a set for one hour, Rolling Stone reported.
On Lower Broadway, Shelton participated in a pre-festival karaoke event at WannaB's to introduce Smithworks vodka. Among the other artists who participated in similar events promoting new brands of whiskey, vodka and wine were Darius Rucker, Sara Evans, Little Big Town and Florida George Line, according to Billboard.
Fans are still waiting for Shelton and Stefani to make an official announcement of their wedding. Meanwhile, the two are focused on their careers are musicians.
