Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.1 Announced
China-based tech giant Xiaomi has announced a newly-designed version of its Mi Notebook Air 13.1 in the market. The device comes equipped with upgraded features including an expansive 8GB of RAM and a never-seen-before fingerprint scanner on the same.
As can be recalled, Xiaomi first took the wraps off its Mi Notebook 13.3 in China back in August 2016. At that time, according to a report published by Indian Express, the laptop sported a shiny design and highly-competitive hardware configuration. Given its high-end specifications, the laptop fell directly in competition with the Apple MacBook Air and Pro laptops. The company has now taken the public stage to launch its upgraded Mi Notebook 13.3.
The newly-introduced laptops come equipped with a new seventh-gen Intel Core M3 processor, which reportedly outputs 12 percent improved performance over the sixth-gen core M3 chipset. The laptop also comes with an additional 4G LTE modem which is inbuilt.
Apart from this, the Mi Notebook Air 13.3 further sports 8GB of DDR4 RAM and two different SSD drive options including 128GB and 256GB. The laptop is further powered by a NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphic card with a 2GB GDDR5 memory option.
According to a report published by GizmoChina, the Mi Notebook Air 13.3 also introduces a new and upgraded fingerprint sensor in its latest version. The new feature is located on the top-right edge corner of the trackpad and is even equipped with customized AKG speakers. On the connectivity front, the laptop features multiple options including Bluetooth 4.0, USB-C port, two Type A USB 3.0 ports, a full-sized HDMI port and a 4-cell battery with Type-C. As far as the price of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3 is concerned, the device is priced at around 4,999 Yuan.
