Ed Sheeran, 26, recently caught the attention of those who were looking for some "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers. The "Shape of You" singer clarified that the role he will play in the HBO series is not as big as fans seem to expect it to be.

"I haven't seen it," Sheeran told Entertainment Tonight on June 15, Thursday at the 48th Annual Induction and Awards Gala of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, where he received the Hal David Starlight Award. The singer was referring to his cameo appearance on "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

According to Sheeran, he will have a scene with Maisie Williams, who is reprising her role as Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. There has been much hyper about the cameo appearance but the singer revealed that nothing exciting happens in his scene with Williams.

Sheeran described his scene with Williams as a "decent" one and clarified that it is not an integral part of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. He added that, in their scene, the characters they play will "just have a conversation and that's kind of it."

Another theory that was recently of interest among those looking for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers was an observation a fan wrote on Reddit. In the Season 7 trailer, Unsullied troops are sacking a castle belonging to House Lannister, which could be Casterly Rock itself, the home of House Lannister, the fan theorized.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will premiere on HBO on July 16. Williams' fellow main cast members Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headley, Peter Dinklage and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are reprising their respective roles as Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister and Jaime Lannister.

There are 22 members of the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 main cast. The others are Aidan Gillen, Liam Cunningham, Carice van Houten, Indira Varma, Sophie Turner, Nathalie Emmanuel, Rory McCann, Conleth Hill, Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Gwendoline Christie, Kristofer Hivju, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Jerome Flynn, Iain Glen and Hannah Murray.
