Karma Mobile Hotspot "Neverstop" Offers New Subscription; $50 Unlimited Data Introduced!
Pay-as-you-go LTE mobile hotspot manufacturer, Karma, now offers a new subscription for users who constantly use data connection.
A new monthly subscription called "Neverstop" plan offers unlimited use of data for consumers without the need for a top-up. The plan will cost $50 a month and doesn't require a contract, according to sources.
The new plan is a result of the company's observation over the past years of the increasing number of data usage. The plan will provide the solution for their customers' data usage, according to Tech Crunch.
Karma's "Neverstop" offers a data speed of five mbps with the use of their Karma Go device. Each person connected to the "Neverstop" mobile hotspot network gives the plan holder a $1 credit for his or her next bill. The former Pay-as-you-go plan, now called "Refuel," still offers the free 100mb data for every shared connection, according to Android Central.
"The company expects its heaviest users to be the first to adopt the new plan," Steven Van Wel, Karma's CEO, told The Verge.
"Prior to Neverstop, a single gigabyte of data from Karma would run at least $10, making the new plan very attractive to anyone using 5GB or more each month," he added as reported in The Verge.
In addition, Karma customers have the option to switch from one plan to another anytime, sources reported. Karma offered a way to do it on their own by simply pressing the cancel button on the Karma mobile app. Upon cancelling the subscription, the customer will be automatically switched to "Refuel" at the end of their latest bill, according to Tech Crunch.
Karma will release the "Neverstop" mobile hotspot plan for Android and iOs apps on the next few days once the updated version is available in the app stores.
The "Neverstop" mobile hotspot can only accommodate up to three connections at the same time with five mbps download and upload speed, according to Tech Crunch.
