G-Dragon & Sandara Park Dating: Sandara Attends G-Dragon's Concert, Says BIG BANG Leader Is The Only K-pop Idol Who Matters
Fans of Sandara Park and G-Dragon found fresh hope that the BIG BANG leader and the former 2NE1 member are actually dating in real life after they spotted Sandara among the audience in G-Dragon's "ACT III:MOTTE" concert in Seoul. Fans at the event took snaps of a woman believed to be Sandara among the audience.
Based on photos and videos posted on social media, the woman looked like Sandara and was wearing a fisherman's style hat to hide her features. However, she was flanked by BIG BANG members Taeyang and Daesung at G-Dragon's so it made her pretty hard to miss.
Fans also got a kick when Sandara was flashed on the screen in a special video for G-Dragon. In the video, people who were close to G-Dragon were asked what they thought about Kwon Ji Yong, G-Dragon's real name. "There are many idols out there. But for me, there is only G-Dragon," Sandara said about her rumored boyfriend.
Rumors of a romance between Sandara Park and G-Dragon, collectively known to their shippers as Daragon or Nyongdal, a play on the combination of their names, have been swirling for several years already after Sandara, in an old interview, said that her ideal type was someone like G-Dragon. Rumors further intensified when the two YG artists collaborated on the song "Hello" and BIG BANG collaborated with 2NE1 for the track "Lollipop."
Fans noticed the strong chemistry and natural rapport between Sandara and G-Dragon leading them to keep an eagle eye out for off cam sweetness between the two. In January, dating rumors began to re-emerge when G-Dragon was spotted exiting the backstage of BIG BANG's "Made" tour shielding Sandara from the press. Both artists have claimed that they were just joking around but many fans refused to believe that there was nothing to it.
A recent interview with Sandara about her ideal type also perfectly described the BIG BANG leader. She said she preferred slim to muscly guys, cute, liked music fashion and cats. These descriptions, fan observed, seemed to be perfectly fit for G-Dragon, Korea Portal reported.
