Redmond-giant Microsoft in hopes to reboot its Surface product line-up is preparing the official launch of its Surface Pro laptop. The leading product as far as the 2-in-1 section is concerned was announced earlier this month and it has certainly exceeded the expectations of the fans. RELEASE DATE AND PRICE -According to a report published by PC World, Microsoft still hasn't posted an official release date as yet. However, the company has assured that the products will start shipment by June 15th. The Redmond-tech giant has even provided a section wherein interested buyers can enroll for the pre-orders program. As far as the availability of the Surface Pro is concerned, the product will be available in 26 markets including UK, France, India, Taiwan, Germany, and others. SPECIFICATIONS - According to a report published by Trusted Reviews, the Surface Pro comes with a Type Cover keyboard. However, there is another option called Surface Pro Signature Type cover which is slightly more expensive than the former. The company hasn't included the Surface Pen. Therefore, interested buyers will probably have to pay $100 more for the pen.

The 2-in-1 laptop packs the seventh-gen Kaby Lake CPUs and offers over 20 per cent more enhanced performance than its predecessor. According to the company, the Surface Pro (2017) is capable of lasting for around 13.5 hours more.

According to another report published by Pocket Lint, the Surface Pro comes in numerous memory options, varying from 4GB to 16GB RAM and 128GB to 512GB ROM. On the connectivity front, the Surface Pro offers USB 3.0 Type A, a mini display port, 3.5mm headphone jack, surface connector for charging, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n compatible, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microSD card reader.
