BTS Was Formed Because of Rap Mon; Secret Revealed by Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Shi Hyuk

BTS was revealed to have been formed because of one specific member. In his recent interview with a news company, Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Shi Hyuk narrated how the team started and what promise he made to the members.

The CEO said that when he saw Rap Monster rapping, he immediately thought of creating a hip-hop group. He then started to search for members who will make up the proposed band. Hyuk is particularly looking for candidates who will not just be idols but individuals who can also share their own stories.

CEO Hyuk finishes this section of the interview with "These thoughts of mine are still reflected in BTS's music to this day. My hope was that they would become a group that can write and compose their own performances, and they are slowly accomplishing that task."

According to XportsNews, the Big Hit Entertainment boss also made a promise to BTS members. "If you believe in the team, and do your best in your roles, I will help you become recognized as a team of producers and not just idols," he told them. "They all trust and believed in me, so now it is my turn to keep that promise."

It appears that the promise is being slowly fulfilled already as Rap Monster, J-Hope and Suga recently helped in the composition of BTS's newest track titled "Blood, Sweat and Tears." It was said that the tree also participated in writing "I Need U."

Jung Kook and V tried their hand on composing as well. Aside from the three mentioned members, the two added the also helped in writing "Run."

Meanwhile, BTS celebrating its fourth year anniversary and one of the upcoming activities to celebrate the occasion is titled the "2017 BTS Home Party." It will be held on June 13 in Woori Art Hall located at the Olympic Park in Seoul, Korea Herald reported.

The event is part of the team's "BTS Festa," a yearly event that is celebrated every day starting June 1 and each event is always known to be grand. Although not all fans can watch it, those who do not have tickets can watch it live through Naver's V Live instead.
