The release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 2 still remains unclear as there is no official word coming from the side of the show-runners. Fans are obviously growing impatient. Nonetheless, a recent online report quotes one of the writers as teasing the possibility of some characters returning to the show with the upcoming season.

According to a report published by Express, even though the release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 2 has not been confirmed - chances are the show won't premier until late summer. The second episode of "Rick and Morty" has been titled, 'Rickmancing The Stone," and on the basis of rumors, it has been suggested that the episode might launch anytime between June and August. However, fans are hoping to see it earlier, probably in the next week or so.

The show-runners haven't commented on the matter either. According to a report published by Blasting News, one of the writers of the show, Ryan Ridley revealed that the "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 2 might witness the return of the past characters.

In an interview with Y Combinator, he apparently said that Evil Morty might make a comeback in the upcoming show, titled, "Rickmancing The Stone." He started by suggesting that fans don't care about characters that were introduced in the beginning of the show, and he finds that very sad. However, the eye-patch Evil Morty is expected to make a comeback in the upcoming episode and there will be serious consequences for the same. Among others will be Mr. Meeseeks, Mr. Poopybutthole, Scary Terry and Squanchy that are expected to make the comeback as well. This will ultimately be causing a conflict between the major characters. However, nothing has been confirmed by the official authorities yet. For more "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 2, stay tuned.
