Katy Perry was ranked as the highest-paid female in the music industry with a net worth of $135 million, according to Forbes.

The singer earned the highest spot because of her successful world tour, her hit singles, and numerous endorsements with top brand companies, according to souces.

Her net worth runs a total of $135 million, coming from her earnings from the "Prismatic" World Tour that gained $2 million in each city. Perry performed a total of 126 shows. Her earning also stem from her endorsements with Claire's and Coty, and Covergirl, according to Forbes.

The third spot is for the Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, earning $59.5 million.

"Fleetwood Mac is out there slogging it on the road," chief of concert data outfit Pollstar, Gary Bongiovanni, said. "From a fan perspective, I think that Fleetwood's core fan base recognized that Christine McVie being back in the group was something special, and worth coming out for," according to Forbes.

Lady Gaga sat on the fourth spot for her deals with Versace and Mac cosmetics with $59 million, while Beyonce descended from being the top-earner in 2014 to fifth place this year, according to The Guardian.
