China-manufactured smartphone Oukitel U7 Pro's YouTube video showed that it has a screen display as hard as a cutting board.

Oukitel released a newly manufactured smartphone through a video where vegetables are cut at the top of the screen. The YouTube video of the android phone was uploaded last Tuesday showing how the screen can resist the harsh knife cutting everything on the screen leaving it undamaged after use, according to CNET.

A report in 2013 resulted that a quarter of iPhone users had been using a damaged screen handset. Oukitel is hoping that the U7 Pro smartphone will provide the solution to consumers' damaged screen problems, according to Tech Times.

The Oukitel U7 Pro strong screen display is 5.5 inches wide with 1,280 x 720 graphic screen-resolution. It also has an 8GB memory storage and 1GB of RAM. The phone's rear camera is 13-megapixel. The android phone is powered by MediaTek processor at 1.3 GHz quad-core, according to Ubergizmo.

It is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, capable of WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a battery of 2000 mAh Li-Ion, according to Device Specifications.

This is not the first time that the China-based manufacturer made an impression in manufacturing heavy-duty phones. They have previously released a video of their K4000 series handset last September that showed how good the phone works even after they drilled a hole into it, according to Tech Times.

Oukitel U7 Pro will sell for $70 together with a projector the same as the Samsung Galaxy Beam series. The company hasn't released any details about its release date in the U.S.

The company seems to aim adventurous users basing on the phone's specification. The Oukitel U7 Pro will serve as a multifunctional device for emergency cutting purposes. Despite the demonstration of the phone's capability, there's no information given if the device is water resistant for cleaning purposes, according to Ubergizmo.
