BTS, SEVENTEEN, EXO Has Highest Brand Reputation Values Among Kpop Boy Bands For Month Of June
BTS continues to reign over competitor Kpop boy bands on the monthly chart that measures each South Korean group's brand values. Apart from BTS, SEVENTEEN and EXO also nabbed top spots on the said list.
Recently, the seven-member Kpop boy band BTS reached an impressive milestone by landing the number one spot on a brand reputation chart for the eighth month in a row. The said group posted total brand reputation points of 13,385,396 for the period of May 9 until June 10, according to data from the Korean Business Research Institute, as cited by Soompi. The said score marked an increase from the group's May brand value levels of 9,595,360 points.
Apart from BTS, the brand reputation index of the Kpop group SEVENTEEN also saw a slight uptick from 2,975,519 points to 8,220,258 points for the month of June. With the said boy band at second place, EXO took the third spot with a total brand value of 6,646,661 points. Other bands that made it to the said list's Top 10 included SECHSKIES, VIXX, SHINee, WINNER, Highlight formerly known as BEAST, ASTRO and BTOB at fourth to tenth places, respectively.
Meanwhile, BTS has been gaining several accolades from various award-giving bodies, both in South Korea and in other parts of the world. The Kpop band's latest album also ranked high on several local and global charts.
Released in February, BTS' album "You Never Walk Alone" continues to hold a spot on Billboard's World Albums chart. The said repacked album rose from number 12 to land at number eight on the said list's week period covering June 17, according to a chart listing on the said site.
Similar to BTS, Kpop artists such as ASTRO and LOCO also ranked on the Billboard's World Albums list with their albums titled "Dream Part. 01" at number six and "Bleached" at number seven, respectively. SEVENTEEN also landed on the said chart with the boy band's album "Al1" at number four.
