Big Bang TOP Out of Danger and Transferred to New Hospital; Rapper Apologized

TOP's mother has relayed yesterday that her son has finally opened his eyes. Apparently, the idol's condition has improved and he has been released from the ICU where he was taken cared of since being found unconscious on June 6.

Doctors confirmed that the Big bang member overdosed on anxiety medications and this left him in to critical condition for two days. It was reported that since opening his eyes, TOP continued to recover and can stand and walk around his room now.

On June 9, TOP was finally discharged from Ewha Woman's University Mokdong Hospital but he will not come home yet. He will be transferred to a new medical facility where he can have a private room and right treatment for his full recovery.

It was revealed that the reason his family chose to transfer TOP to another hospital was for privacy and for him to get the necessary facilities for his psychological and other physical treatment.

Now, due to this situation of TOP having a drug case and have been in a serious health condition, the military has officially released the rapper and he can return home. However, his case will still continue, Soompi reported.

Various media outlets took photos of TOP leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, with his mother and YG representatives accompanying him. The reporters were trying to talk to him but since he cannot answer them all, he simply said, "I'm sorry" before leaving in an ambulance.

Meanwhile, the Seoul Central Court released an order that TOP's case is to be heard in court on June 29. Then again, with his current condition, it is unclear whether the idol could attend the hearing or not.

If Big Bang's TOP is convicted, he can go to prison and stay there for about 1 year and 6 months. He will also be totally expelled from the army and will not be eligible to serve anymore.

On the other hand, if he will get a positive verdict, he will be evaluated by the military board to see if he can still go back to the army. Allkpop reported that if TOP will be deemed unfit, it is likely that he will be re-enlisted as public service worker or a member of the reserved forces.
