‘Vikings’ Season 5 Update: Lagertha's Life Is At Stake

It seems like fans of "Vikings" might have to wait for a bit longer for its Season 5 to arrive. A new word out in the streets suggests that History Channel is planning on postponing the premier of the 6th season a little more. Moreover, there are multiple rumors - all suggesting that Ragnar Lothbrok might no longer be a part of the upcoming season. This has obviously led the fans to feel worried about Ivar the Boneless to eliminate Lagertha in his quest of achieving revenge. At the same time, Katheryn Winnick is also another one of those major characters that might be killed off in the "Vikings" Season 5.

According to a report published by Celebeat, the fifth season of "Vikings" officially wrapped up back in May. Following which, History channel made no such announcements regarding renewing the show, only until lately. As the time passed by, reports regarding the post-production of the show seemingly taking place started popping online. "Vikings" Season 5 was officially confirmed by the entertainment channel that stated that the fifth season will carry an additional of 20 new episodes. This led the fans to start guessing as to what the show will be carrying for the fate of its major characters.

According to a report published by Inquistr, there are multiple speculations that suggest that Ivar, the Boneless is set to go ahead with his revenge-taking spree.

Meanwhile, Katheryn Winnick took to Instagram, to post a picture of her along with her cast members. This included Moe Dunford (Aethelwulf), Jennie Jacques, Darren Cahill and Ferdia Walsh-Peelo and others. It is interesting to note that Harald Finehair (Peter Franzen) was missing altogether.
