Now, it appears like Adult Swim has officially published a video wherein the co-creator of "Rick and Morty" Dan Harmon can be seen talking about the show, in a really deep manner. If reports are to be believed then Dan Harmon can even be seen talking about the meaning of life and how the show finally made its inception.
According to a report published by Den Of Geek, in the video posted by Adult Swim, Dan Harmon can be seen talking specifically about "Rick and Morty" and how the show has purposely being made to follow the themes of other iconic creations and arts. He reportedly said that Rick is the kind of character that holds the ability to create anything and therefore, sees a lot of meaning in something that may come across as simplistic to an ordinary person. At the same hand, Jerry represents a contrasting character, wherein his goals are made to be shown as simple and the kind that is majorly dictated by the society. This is exactly what makes Jerry lucky and comical at the same time.
According to another report published by Collider, "Rick and Morty" as seen by the fans, is made to follow a dark series. Harmon in the video can also be seen addressing this issue as well. He has reportedly said that Harmon has left viewers with a surprisingly uplifting moral, regardless of how dark the show really is.
