BIGBANG's T.O.P.

Millions of fans around the world were devastated when it was announced that BIGBANG's T.O.P. was rushed into the hospital due to drug overdose. However, new reports are claiming that avid followers of the popular singer should quit worrying as he is not in critical state.

Celebeat reported that T.O.P. has not committed suicide following the reports stating that he was caught using illegal drugs. According to the news outlet, the BIGBANG member is overdosed on his prescribed medicine, debunking reports that the K-pop superstar has attempted to harm himself.

T.O.P. was brought to the Ewha Womans University Hospital after he was found unconscious and unresponsive. Reports have claimed that the BIGBANG co-member of Seungri, Taeyang, Daesung and G-Dragon was, then, put into an intensive care unit wherein the K-pop star is receiving further medications.

"He is also not in any critical condition but the medicine contains sleep-inducing substances so he is in a state of sleep," the doctor of T.O.P has revealed. "It will take 1 to 2 days for the substance to leave his body at which point he will be fit to normally carry on with his life," the physician of the BIGBANG singer added on.

Meanwhile, a close pal of the BIGBANG member has revealed that T.O.P. has underwent a series of tests and the doctors have suspected that it was, indeed, an overdose. Osen added that the "BANG BANG BANG" singer's life has been so stressful lately due to various events, Koreaboo shared.

There were also reports claiming that T.O.P. was unable to handle the stress that he has been experiencing lately, following his eviction from the military. The mother of the BIGBANG singer, on the other hand, has made it clear that her son was just sleeping and did not use drugs before he was found unconscious.

The mom of T.O.P. has also discouraged fans and other publications to stop disseminating false news and reports about the BIGBANG singer. Stay tuned to Korea Portal for the latest news and updates about T.O.P. health condition!
