‘The Winds Of Winter’ Release Further Delayed : George R.R. Martin Disappoints Fans

Millions of fans are now excited for the release of the up and coming "The Winds of Winter" novel. Now, new reports are claiming that the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series has finally been slated for a 2018 release.

Blasting News reported that "The Winds of Winter" would possibly not be able to make it to the shelves this year as George RR Martin has a lot on his plate right now. According to the news outlet, the New Mexican writer has temporarily took a break from writing the novel since he has several things to focus on at the moment.

As a matter of fact, George RR Martin has previously confirmed that he is going to collaborate with five writers to work on the scripts of the forthcoming "Game of Thrones" spinoffs. There were even claims stating that "The Winds of Winter" author is going to direct these upcoming series.

Aside from writing scripts, George RR Martin is also predicted to get busy with his newly-established organization - the StageCoach Foundation, which aims to help young filmmakers hone their skills in directing and in producing films. "The Winds of Winter" writer has even revealed that he would be asking the help of his good friends in Hollywood to help him train the newbies.

Because of this, fans cannot help but speculate that "The Winds of Winter" could hit the stores in 2018 instead of this year, which is originally the target of George RR Martin. While these reports could be true, it should be noted that no official details has been announced as of yet; hence, everything should be taken with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, Poor Primadonna has previously shared that "The Winds of Winter" could really be delayed as George RR Martin has revealed that he has a lot of things to do. "So much to do. And the days go by so quickly. I love my work, all my work, all my projects, all my children, but sometimes it seems as if the harder I work, the further behind I get," the 68-year-old author has divulged.
