'Attack On Titan' Spoilers: Ymir The Jaw Titan's Past Revealed; Battle Of Pursuit Begins

The latest episode of “Attack on Titan”, otherwise known as “Shingeki no Kyojin”, is finally out. The said anime series is currently in its second season and it picks up from where the first season ended. The recent episode finally puts into light one of the titan’s stories.

“Attack On Titan” Season 2 Episode 10, which is also referred to as the 35th episode of the anime series, is a big eye-opener as it reveals how Ymir turned into the person and titan she is now. Reiner Braun and Bertholt Hoover have kidnapped Eren Yeager and Ymir. In their flight, they decided to rest and hid in an isolated forest where mindless titans lingered. Mikasa, Armin, and the rest of the Survey Corps run out with a plan to save Eren and Ymir, probably even with the hopes of capturing the Armored Titan and Colossal Titan.

The group of four flees once again when they realized that the Survey Corps has caught up to them. “Attack On Titan” Episode 35 suddenly reveals a flashback, retelling the story of Ymir who have lived for more than 75 years after becoming a titan. Ymir was from a poor background and was then recruited by a cult when she was still a child so she can pose as a fake messiah claiming that she had the blood of the king.

Ymir was worshiped for years until the cult was ambushed and apprehended by Marley authorities. She along with the cult were then sentenced to become titans as authorities injected them with serum and pushed them towards the premises of Paradis Island. After being asleep in her titan form in a long while, she runs into Reiner’s group and eats Marcel, which enabled her to inherit the Jaw Titan’s powers that “Attack on Titan” has already revealed in early episodes.

As the revelation was brought to light, present day Ymir decides to thwart Reiner’s plan to flee by threatening Bertholt. The Survey Corps that were pursuing them included her beloved Christa and she wanted to take her along with the group’s journey to Marley. The next episode of “Attack on Titan” will feature the clash between Reiner’s group and the scouts, even hinting that Eren’s secret power will be unveiled.
