T.O.P., G-Dragon, Apologize For Marijuana Controversy

In light of the recent marijuana scandal, T.O.P. and G-Dragon have both come forward to express their apology for the situation. Both Big Bang members share the same nature of the controversy, as G-Dragon was also one of the YG artists involved in a previous drug-related scandal.

As the leader of Big Bang, G-Dragon took the responsibility to apologize to the fans during the group's recent fan meeting in Japan. The idol apologized on behalf of his team member T.O.P., saying, "I am sorry for causing trouble. I promise something like this will never happen again. Please keep supporting us." T.O.P. was not present at the event due to his military service, not because of the marijuana scandal. However, reports say that even in the military, T.O.P. has been lying low and avoiding outdoors.

T.O.P. has also spoken up and personally issued a public apology for testing positive for marijuana. After admitting that he was indeed using the drug, the idol crafted a handwritten letter and posted it online. The letter read:

"This is Choi Seung Hyun (T.O.P's real name). First of all, I want to apologize with all my heart for disappointing many and causing a controversy through my fault. I am too embarrassed by myself even to apologize in person...I do not have any excuses and I have many regrets. I am now cautiously writing while I am afraid of everything...I believe I should be rightly punished for hurting the members, the label, the public, the fans who cherished me, and my family in a way that cannot be fixed. My heart hurts, and I am very disappointed in myself. I will look back on myself thousands of times and reflect and reflect and think about my actions...I will not make the same irresponsible mistakes again. I apologize once again for not being able to go and apologize personally one on one to everyone, and I will reflect more deeply. I am very embarrassed by myself. I'm sorry."
