‘Fairy Tail' Chapter 538 Spoilers: Natsu Disappears; Another Dead Character's Return Hinted
The latest chapter of the “Fairy Tail” manga series is out and it reveals the aftermath of the fight between Zeref and Natsu. With just eight more chapters left before the manga officially says goodbye to its fans, manga creator Hiro Mashima continues with his annoying style of resurrecting dead characters. With Zeref gone, nothing is certain yet with Natsu’s fate.
As revealed in “Fairy Tail” Chapter 538, the guild has finally overcome their biggest battle. Lucy and Gray were able to rewrite E.N.D. with their happy memories of Natsu. When Mavis released the powerful magic of Fairy Tail in the previous chapter, she and Zeref disappeared into oblivion. With Zeref gone, the book of E.N.D. vanished along with him.
However, Lucy and Gray are surprised and glad that Natsu did not disappear with his brother. The three, accompanied by Happy head on to find what is left of the Fairy Tail guild. Natsu also tells the them that the guild master, Makarov has died amidst the chaos, pointing out that they are still unaware that Makarov has been revived, too. Just as things were going well, Natsu suddenly disappears without a peep and Lucy and Gary are in a state of panic, worrying that Natsu might have actually vanished forever with the book of E.N.D and his brother.
“Fairy Tail” Chapter 538 concluded with Jellal barely alive after his death-defying fight with Acnologia. Meanwhile, Wendy notices a crack in the sealed Ravines of Time, signaling that they have not seen the last of Acnologia. The last arc of the manga, which is the Alvarez Empire Arc, showcased several revelations and even had more deaths. However, Hiro Mashima suddenly started reviving some of the characters, which disappointed most of the manga’s avid readers.
With the latest chapter of “Fairy Tail” hints another dead character returning, fans are speculating that there is a huge possibility that even Zeref and Mavis will somehow return for a final appearance. Acnologia, who was supposed to be the manga’s biggest major villain, was downplayed in the recent chapters and maybe even with just eight chapters left, Hiro Mashima will make up for it as Acnologia is hinted to rise from the dead.
