MBC's historical series "Ruler: Master of the Mask" continues to be the leader among Wednesday-Thursday primetime dramas with TV ratings posting double digits. The Yoo Seung Ho starrer even bested the romantic comedy suspense drama "Suspicious Partner" and the new series "Queen For Seven Days."

"Ruler: Master of the Mask" posted impressive viewership shares with episodes 13 and 14 reaching ratings above 10 percent. Aired on May 31, the said two episodes registered nationwide ratings of 11.7 percent and 13.6 percent, respectively. In the Seoul metropolitan area, episode 13 attained viewership shares of 12.2 percent with episode 14 at 14.5 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

The said rating achievement marked the fourth consecutive week that "Ruler: Master of the Mask" reigned over competitor dramas in the same primetime slot. At second place after Yoo Seung Ho's series is the SBS romantic comedy suspense drama "Suspicious Partner." The said Ji Chang Wook starrer reached nationwide viewership shares of 7.5 percent and 9.3 percent for episodes 13 and 14, respectively.

Apart from "Ruler: Master of the Mask" and "Suspicious Partner," KBS' new historical series also posted steady TV ratings. "Queen for Seven Days" which premiered on May 31 registered viewership ratings of 6.9 percent across the South Korean nation.

Meanwhile, "Ruler: Master of the Mask" tells the story of several characters caught between the political and power struggles of the royal family and a villainous group. The crown prince Lee Sun, who is forced to wear a mask to hide his identity, swaps roles with a commoner also named Lee Sun so he can uncover the secrets of the villainous group. Portrayed by Yoo Seung Ho and INFINITE's L, respectively, the two characters end up falling in love with the same young woman Ga Eun played by Kim So Hyun.

In a recent V Live interview, Kim So Hyun revealed what the cast of "Ruler: Master of the Mask" plan to do if viewership shares exceed 20 percent. The young actress shared that she and the drama's main cast members will hold a special autograph signing session with fans while wearing their costumes from the series, Soompi reported.

"Ruler: Master of the Mask," "Suspicious Partner" and "Queen for Seven Days" airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC, SBS and KBS, respectively. Watch a teaser clip for Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun's drama below:
